Hypnotherapy, Meditation, are words which are used to describe the experience of accessing the autonomic nervous system. The
autonomic nervous system is the healing function of the human mind/body. When the human self healing energy is accessed,and
is learned or remembered, this results in increased calm, sense of well being, energy, strength, and healthy change. Suggestion,
metaphor, story telling, CBT, affirmation, working with breath, chakra, guided visualization, are some of the possible approaches.
As a trained classical singer/certified hypnotherapist, yoga therapist, and masters level clinical social worker, we focus
on your goals, values, background, in your comfort zone, to give you the experience of self healing. This can be used also
to remove blocks to personal success, to increase new behaviors.
Your first session is to talk and discuss goals. There
is a short hypnotherapy session for 20-30 minutes. When you decide this is helpful, the next hypnotherapy lasts longer, up
to an hour. This can be combined with Psychotherapy and Yoga Therapy for a short term or long term process. Being a Licensed
Clinical Social Worker on panels of HMOs and Commercial Insurances, this is reimbursable.
